Start Time
| 5:45 pm | The doors will open. Members are welcome to join in setting up. (The lower hall is accessible by elevator.) | ||
| 6:00 to 7:00 pm | Social time / Library This period gives members a chance to visit the library, sign up for programs, or just circulate and socialize. | ||
| 7:00 to 7:15 pm |
The library and the membership desk will close for the evening and a brief business meeting will be held. | ||
| 7:15 to 9:00 pm | Immediately upon conclusion of the business meeting, the programme and general stitching portion of the meeting will commence. | ||
| As the Guild has the premises until 9:00 pm, members are free to stay till then if they choose. |
Earlier Start Time
For the last few years we have been meeting at an earlier start time. We believe it helps all of us get more out of our meetings, and gives our librarian and membership chair a chance to participate in programme.
Driving Directions
From the East take the Queensway to Maitland, continue on Clyde and Merivale then turn right onto Rossland, then turn left onto Epworth. Taking Baseline from the east, turn left onto Cordova, then left onto Epworth.
From the West on Baseline one can turn right on Cordova, then left on Epworth.
OVGS Stitch Days
In-Person Stitch Days at the Carlingwood Shopping Centre
Come join us at The Spot in the Carlingwood Shopping Centre for hours of socializing and stitching! You can come for an hour or two or spend the entire day.
All are welcome! If you are not a member of our Guild, please drop by and take a look at our current projects.

The Spot is basically an empty store on the main floor, near Entrance #1, next to Laura Secord and close to the Food Court and Washrooms.
If you arrive at opening time, we welcome help with setting up tables and chairs.
Virtual Stitch Days on Zoom
Virtual Stitch Days occur on the first and third Sunday of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm. Members are notified of Zoom meeting times and links by OVGS Communications a few days before each virtual meeting.
During the months of July and August, Virtual Stitch Zoom sessions are scheduled for the evening of the third Wednesday of the month, starting at 7 pm.

OVGS Virtual Meetings
OVGS hosts various virtual meetings using Zoom:
- Virtual Guild meetings are scheduled concurrent with in-person Guild meetings. Frequently the two groups interact using a Zoom connection.
- Virtual Stitch Days occur on the first and third Sunday of the month from 1 pm to 4 pm.
- During the months of July and August, Virtual Stitch Zoom sessions are scheduled for the evening of the third Wednesday of the month, starting at 7 pm.
- Some of the OVGS Programme classes and Workshops are held virtually.
- Since 2020 all OVGS Executive meetings have been virtual meetings.
- OVGS stitch-a-long groups use the Guild Zoom account for some of their meetings.
Members are notified of Zoom meeting times and links by OVGS Communications or by a coordinator for the specific activity.
