October and November
17th Century Antique Sample book

This class was inspired by a Portuguese Sample Book in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Participants will have the opportunity to recreate many of the motifs found in the book with the ability to add other motifs of their own choosing. Sign up for a kit has closed already; anyone who wishes to join the class may do so however, they must provide all of their own supplies. The book is worked on 35 count linen but any other linen or Aida could also be used. The kit will have sufficient linen to make 5 linen pages that measure 8 x 6 inches when finished.
